2019 Parker Days Festival Parade Registration

We invite you to apply for an entry in the 43rd Annual Parker Days Festival Parade in Parker, Colorado with step-off at 9:00 am sharp on Saturday, June 8th, 2019. A maximum of 65 units will  be accepted to participate in the parade. 

Parade Theme:  "LET'S CELEBRATE PARKER!"

The theme of the parade this year is "Let's Celebrate Parker! ".  We encourage you to use "Let's Celebrate Parker" as a springboard for your individual unit's theme - what does Parker mean to you?  What is your favorite thing to do in Parker?  Highlight a piece of  Parker history!  What's your favorite Parker destination? A special memory of growing up in Parker? Let's show some Parker love!

Some important items to note:

• The parade will begin on Saturday, June 8th, promptly at 9:00 a.m. Participating parade units will be assigned a specific arrival time and a specific staging entrance location at which to arrive. You will be met at the entrance to your assigned staging location by a Unit Check-In Team who will  check you in, collect any outstanding Parade Participation Waivers  and escort you to your assigned staging location.  As the staging area is tight with narrow streets, it is imperative that parade participants  arrive at your assigned arrival time and stay in your assigned staging location.   Registered entrants arriving AFTER 7:30 a.m. cannot be guaranteed participation in the parade. Detailed parade staging information will be emailed to your unit's parade contact person the week of May 20th.
• Horse entries are subject to approval - Email [email protected] for more information on horse entry approval.
• Absolutely no balloons of any kind are allowed at or around the parade.
• Candy may not be tossed to parade patrons; however, you may walk up to parade patrons and hand them candy! 
• Groups/organizations should designate ONE lead person (listed on this application) to represent your group/organization for all communication with Peg Menos, Parade Participant Coordinator - [email protected].  This lead person will be responsible for disseminating all critical information/instructions to your unit's participants in addition to gathering signatures for waivers and submitting insurance information (if not submitted with application).
• PARADE REGISTRATION will be CLOSED on June 1, 2019.

Parade Participation Waiver

Each participant in the parade (or parent or guardian, if participant in under the age of 18) MUST read and sign the  2019 Parker Days Festival Parade Waiver and Release of Liability/Publicity .  Individuals, group leaders and  each participant in the group will all need to read and sign the 2019 Parker Days Festival Parade Waiver and Release of Liability/Publicity.  (For example, if you are a Girl Scout leader and your Troop will be in the parade, the leader and each individual Girl Scout (or her parent or guardian, if she is under 18 years of age)  will need to sign a 2019 Parker Days Festival Parade Waiver and Release of Liability/Publicity . 

Please either scan and e-mail your signed 2019 Parker Days Festival Parade Waiver and Release of Liability/Publicity forms to [email protected] or drop off  at the Parker Chamber Office, 19590 Mainstreet, Suite 100, Parker no later than May 18th.  Please place the signed waiver form in an envelope  to the attention of Peg Menos/Parade.

Parade Entry Fee 

Unit entry fee  $75.00

Unit fee for floats*  $50.00

*We define a float a highly-decorated trailer/hay wagon which is pulled by a truck or tractor.
